International students are welcome at Lalor North Secondary College. We are an accredited provider under the Victorian ISP [CRICOS Provider Code 00861K].
In recent years we have hosted several students from Vietnam and China who have lived with local families and studied for their VCE.
These overseas students need a study visa from the Immigration Department and permission to study from the Victorian Government Schools International Student Program.*
Lalor North Secondary College is a co-educational school in Melbourne's northern suburbs, a convenient location served by public transport, road network and bicycle tracks. We have students from over 40 countries and multiculturalism is celebrated. We have a small number of international fee-paying students who are fully integrated with our mainstream students in all subjects.
ESL classes are offered at all levels and support services, welfare programs, career pathways, tertiary options advice and counselling is available in some other classes.
International students are encouraged and supported to join local sporting teams, participate in a range of local area activities and to feel part of the local community.
We offer a balanced and varied program which includes academic, practical, vocational and physical options.
Languages taught : Italian, Japanese, Intensive English taught at nearby English Language School, access to Victorian School of Languages for other languages.
